About Kootenai House

Established in 2004 by Randy & Colleen Richard, Kootenai House is known far and wide as "Montana's Most Unique Store".  Step inside and you will find an array of lodge style furnishings, antler chandeliers, black forest decor, log furniture, sporting art and antiques.  You will also find new beads, findings and collectable trade beads, clothing, cowboy hats and boots, jewelry including Montana sapphires, books and Montana gifts.

Kootenai House is also the home of Glacier Wear, manufacturers of fine fur products for over 20 years.  See fur blankets, comforters, pillows, hats, scarves and mittens being made in our workshop.  Walk inside The Fur Room and see the largest selection of tanned furs in the United States.
